Showgrounds: Groovin the Moo BY Lethal
Groovin the Moo is back again for 2015 at Bendigo’s Prince of Wales Showgrounds and should be an awesome day of live acts with Bendigo being the first up of six shows in the national tour.
It has been touring for just over 10 years now and this year’s event will showcase some excellent performers.
The music rocks from 10am to 10pm on Saturday May 2nd. Many Victorians have secured their seats for Bendigo’s big event. The other five shows are to be in Canberra, Bunbury, Maitland, Townsville and Oakbank.
Some of the studio hosts for the day will include Grinspoon’s Phil Jamieson, Zan Rowe from Triple J, and the Dancing Accountant.
Groovin the Moo presenter Stephen Halpin said, “Thanks Bendigo! We love being part of Australia and we’re really looking forward to this year’s line up playing to another sold out audience.”
Some of the performers to look out for will be The Delta Riggs, Wolfmother, Hot Dub Time Machine, Sticky Fingers, DMA’s and from the UK, Peace, as well as USA’s A$AP Ferg. New Zealand’s Synth duo Broods will be one of the big acts.
Aussie’s own groups San Cisco, The Preatures, Saskwatch should be a big hit.
Artists, students, and hobbyists can also take part in Groovin the Moo TEE competition, with entrants able to create and develop a souvenir.
This year’s performances should give out some awesome sounds and be a fun and lively day with the Bendigo event continuing to grow each year.
