The Echuca Moama Country Music Festival was launched in 2007 by Roz Giles of Big River Entertainment.  It was then known as “The Echuca Workers Country Music Festival” and was held at The Echuca Workers Club.

In 2014 the festivals’ name was changed to “The Echuca Moama Country Music Festival” and was hosted by the Moama RSL Club.

This year the Moama RSL will once again play host to this fabulous event that attracts country music enthusiasts from all over Australia.

Each year the festival has presented a first class line up of popular local & interstate artists. The main aim of the event is to present an affordable weekend of quality entertainment which covers all styles of Country, Ballads, Evergreen Classics and  a touch of good ‘ole 50s 60s Rock n Roll.

Artists appearing this year include internationally acclaimed entertainers Roland Storm and Craig Giles. Also included in this first class line up are Kinta, Allan Carroll, Ray Macartney, Rupe Adams, Jamie Nielson, Kim Ritchie, Anthony Tenace, Rino & Jade, Olive Bice, The Good Time Band and Cameron Mason. (Cameron will only be performing on the Saturday.)

Big River Entertainment always endeavours to support young up-and-comers and this year local singer-songwriter, Laura Byrnes has been given the opportunity to show case her talents on the Saturday program.  There may also be a couple of other surprises over the weekend.

The festival will kick off on the Friday night at 7.30pm in the Anzac Terrace with the popular Pre-Festival Dance.  Saturday from 11am – 11pm enjoy a wide variety of music in both the Anzac Terrace and The Sports Lounge. Sunday morning enjoy an hour of Gospel songs in the Anzac Terrace from 10.30am – 11.30am. Then continue on with a mix of country music until 5.30pm. The Sports lounge will also have continuous music with a variety of artists on Sunday from 11.30am – 5.30pm. Ticket prices are $25 for a weekend pass or $15 for the Sunday only.
