WAR

BY Mitchell Benjamin Frost

Everyday’s just the same

Just the same old deadbeat ways

Smoking cigarettes I don’t want

Same old feeling from the pot

There’s no point to anything

All I feel is drained

Got no soul no energy

I’ve got to get away

We feel your war here

Your war on war

There’s a hopeless war behind every door

There’s a war here

My war your war

Killing all who stand before

What do you fight for?

Everyone’s everyday is just

A rush to make the big bucks

Seducing each other for god knows what

All because you want what they’ve got

There’s no point to humanity

Human life a bitter taste

Thriving off the poverty

As we lay the land to waste

We feel your war here

Your war on war

There’s a senseless war behind upon every shore

There’s a war here

My war your war

Killing all who stand before

Who do you fight for?

Every death is just collateral

Just statistics on your plate

Classified as political

Would you take their place?

We all fear the war here

Our war for it all

Bombing each other your weapons hot

Because you don’t like what they’ve got

There’s no saving anything

Everyday reason is just as lame

Death will reign in supremacy

As we burn the world day
